Nico, have you found out anything further on the scam? Is there a generic "name" for this kind of scam -- I'd like to do more surfing for info on how to protect from it, but it's difficult to search for.

Having gone through the pain of being victim to a [luckily minor, bank caught it right away] credit card scam just recently we're much more vigilant but this sounds scary.
